UCI Track World Championships 2017

We’re deep in the throes of the cycling season now, and another major tournament has just wrapped up this past weekend. The 2017 Track World Championships took place from 12-16 April in Hong Kong, with 11 countries winning world titles and 15 countries in total coming home victorious. This is only the second time Asia has been the hosting country, and we watched with fingers crossed as hundreds of athletes from around the world participated in 20 events across the 5 days.

From keirin to the individual and team pursuits, from the points race to the scratch race, and of course, who could forget the omnium and Madison, this was one wild competition that saw many of our favourite riders representing their home nation and trying to bring home that desired gold medal.

And in case you missed it, UCI has provided a fantastic recap of each day so that you’re brought right into the heart of all the action. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2018 in Apeldoorn.
