Lucas Brunelle’s Cinelli Strato Faster

We’ve written many posts about riders who are famous in their individual cycling categories for their techniques and skills on the bike. But never before have we profiled a cyclist who is as good at documenting his pursuits as he is riding in them. Lucas Brunelle is the man behind the first-person videos that give you a stomach-dropping glimpse into what it feels like to rush in between two cars at a red light. Or witness a cyclist crashing into a motorcyclist at crazy speeds.

The beast that enables him to streak the streets like that is his incredible Cinelli Strato Faster. Lucas is a Cinelli man through and through, having collaborated with them on numerous trips and films. As someone whose motto is “If it wasn’t on film, it didn’t happen”, we have the feeling that there’s more yet to come from this daredevil. Oh, and did we mention that he’s 46 years old?
